The forthcoming feature of Springsteen Broadway is bound to enthral his many fans, but in truth not so sure how many it will win over as new fans.
It wasn't a concert, yet wasn't quite a stage show or one man show. A bit of both. I was lucky enough to catch it and thought outstanding, but I am a huge fan to start with.
The stories were endearing but again as a fan you probably know it all already through his music and biography. Wonderful to see him again in an intimate setting (Edinburgh Playhouse was also special) here is the setlist:
The dropping of Mrs Springsteen is long overdue in my opinion (although as I have said before her solo stuff pretty good), she just grates with Bruce's vocal, overemphasises things and general is just a downer. 15 Tracks 2hrs 40mins and went bye in a heartbeat.
